With 256 days in production, the Arcadia Performing Arts Center is the busiest venue in the Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley region. It is respected for its modern architecture, top-notch sound and lighting experience, proximity to diverse demographics, and professional venue management from crew to box office.
Rentals include commercial film shoots, concerts, musicals, vocal competitions, fashion shows, martial arts demonstrations, speeches, and even a surprise wedding proposal.
The 39,823-square foot Arcadia Performing Arts Center covers 4.2 acres and features spaces for both large and small productions. The main hall has ground level and mezzanine seating for 1,163, a main stage that can accommodate 150 musicians, and state-of-the art acoustics that has motorized acoustic panels in the house to assist in tuning the room. Specialty work included a stage rigging system, theatrical AV system, handicap lift, and two-stop elevator. Fourteen onstage hoists move all of the curtains, lighting, and orchestra enclosure elements. The onstage hoists allow for programmable presets with that can be run with the push of a button.
The black box theatre space features a pipe grid and perimeter curtains. Orchestra room and dance classroom with a quadruple-sprung wood floor provide extensive rehearsal spaces and additional rooms. The outdoor courtyard is an ideal venue for festival style events and gatherings. The expansive parking lot makes patron parking simple and easily accessible from the highway.
